The combustion chamber can be adjusted quickly depending on the track and weather conditions, as the inserts are easy to change. The inserts are made of aircraft aluminium for detonation resistance. There are various inserts with different volumes available for each head.
These VHM head inserts do not fit the standard (OEM / Stock) heads, only our VHM cylinder heads!
The VHM standard insert is developed for the best overall performance.
Besides our VHM standard, we also offer optional inserts with varying compression ratios. With a higher compression ratio, meaning less volume, your engine will have more low and middle range torque. Lowering the compression ratio, which means more volume, will result in better over revolution characteristics. This improves speed on fast tracks.
With a blind insert you are able to machine the inside of the combustion chamber yourself, with your own ideas about the specifications (volume, piston height, squish).
For all our VHM heads, we also offer a blind (blanc / unmachined) insert.
Inserts with a part number ending with an A are blind inserts, for example AE32281-A
